Megan D. Ford, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Megan D. Ford, Au.D. is a licensed audiologist in practice since 1998. Before opening her own practice she worked at several major medical centers in Boston, Cleveland and Worcester. She founded Hear My Dreams support group, served as Assistant Director of the cochlear implant program at University Hospitals of Cleveland and is actively involved in her community. Dr. Ford received the Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University as well as a Master of Arts degree from University of Pittsburgh. She is Adjunct Faculty at Northeastern University and has lectured at numerous conferences across the country. She has served on the Public Relations Committee and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She has extensive experience in both pediatric and adult audiology, with particular areas of interest in hearing aid technology, cochlear implants and hearing conservation for musicians. As an audiologist, she is trained to identify medical conditions related to hearing loss and when needed, she refers to the area's most trusted Ear, Nose and Throat specialists. She opened her own practice, HearSmart Audiology, in 2013 in order to bring her expertise to the community and make it easier for patients to access high quality audiology health care. Read more.
