Katie Dellorso, B.S., Audiology Resident
Katie Dellorso is a Westford, MA native currently earning a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at University of Massachusetts Amherst while completing a year-long residency at HearSmart Audiology in Littleton, Massachusetts. She is expected to graduate in May, 2017. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Science and Disorders from UMass Amherst in 2013. She has previously completed a clinical rotation under the supervision of Dr. Ford during the Fall 2015 semester as well as other locations including Lahey Clinic. Ms. Dellorso’s interests in audiology include treatment of hearing loss using the latest hearing aid technology; hearing conservation; education and counseling. She enjoys working with both adult and pediatric patients. She is skilled at optimizing amplification to ensure that patients have an accurate and comfortable fit. She currently holds the educational chair position for the Student Academy of Doctors of Audiology (SADA) and is a member at large for the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA). Ms. Dellorso coordinates an annual holiday food drive for the Westford food pantry located at the Cameron Senior Center. In her free time she enjoys gardening and hiking with her dog, Zoey.
